I have tried over the years to write a novel, but I never seem to get past chapter one before I get another idea for a book. Follow my progress and help inspire me to finish my first book.

Family Crisis

My Grandfather is in intensive care after having a major stroke yesterday. I got to see the CAT scan this mourning and it does not look good. I am waiting by the phone for any news. At least I got to tell him I loved him on Halloween. Even if he does recover, the damage done to his brain will be extensive. I want to thank each of my close friends for their kind words and want all to know I will be back to blogging soon. I need a short break to wipe the tears from my eyes.

At first I thought this was the beginning of your novel, then I realized that it's not. I'm terribly soory, Bill. But you know, this could be the novel. It's the best beginning out of all the others. Y'know what they advise: "Write what you know." In this case, it could be your best advice. Again, I'm so sorry.
